What is the best film weight for doing my project?

The general rule is to use the same weight of film as the article you are laminating? School grade film is used to laminate documents with light ink coverage. (Example: newspaper thickness) General purpose film is ideal for most porous stock with light to medium ink coverage. (example: 20 lb. bond copy paper ) Premium film is used for specialty items with heavy ink coverage. (Example: 80 lb. card stock, poster board, colored articles)
